02nd August - is an important day for all of in the Diocese of Miao, for multiple reasons.
On the Memorial Day of 'Servants of God' Frs. Nicolas Krick and Augustin Bourry - this day is celebrated as the ‘Foundation Day’ as we remember with deep sense of gratitude to GOD for all the landmark events that took place on this day:
- the First Baptisms at Borduria village;
- the visit of St. Mother Theresa of Kolkata; and
- the Episcopal Ordination Anniversary of Most Rev. Dennis Panipitchai SDB, Auxiliary Bishop.
We thank God for all the blessings and we pray for our shepherd - Bishop George Pallipparambil SDB, Auxiliary Bishop Dennis Panipitchai SDB, all the Faithful, Catechists, Lay Leaders, Youth, Children and Priests & Women Religious working in the Diocese of Miao, that we all may continue to grow in faith, hope and love and may become true witnesses of God’s Kingdom.
