Wathin Village Celebrates Silver Jubilee of Faith
The humble and faith-filled community of Wathin village under Khonsa Parish in Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh, joyfully celebrated the Silver Jubilee of their journey in faith on 28 May 2025
The occasion was m
arked with the inauguration of a Memorial Marian Grotto, the release of a Jubilee Memorial Booklet, and the celebration of the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion, culminating in a vibrant Cultural Programme.
Shri Wangki Lowang, Hon'ble Minister for Environment & Forest, Geology, Mining & Minerals, and Development of Tirap, Changlang & Longding, graced the event as Chief Guest. The Spiritual Celebration was solemnly officiated by Most Rev. Dennis Panipitchai, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Miao.
